This Bread recipe is a type of bread my Mamma makes but
there are many different recipes around the world for different types of bread.
Maybe find out other recipes and make traditional styles of bread from all
around the world.
TIPs:
To check it had fully cooked, turn the bread out and tap the bottom. If
it sounds hollow it is cooked.
Best Served warm!

Recipe Ingredients
1lb Granary Flour
1 Sachet of Dried Yeast
1tsp Salt
8-10floz Tepid Water
1tbsp Olive Oil
1tsp Malt Extract

Recipe Method
- Sieve the flour and salt into a mixing bowl.
- Stir in the yeast.
- Add the oil and malt extract to the tepid water and mix.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry (either use a mixer with
dough hooks or mix by hand whilst adding the wet).
- Mix until it comes together in a soft ball.
- Turn it out onto a floured surface.
- Need for 5 minutes if it was mixed by dough hooks, or for 10 minutes is
it was mixed by hand until the dough is elastic.
- Put it into an oiled bowl and leave in a warm place to rise (approx 1
hour or until it has doubled size).
- Turn out and need again for 5 minutes.
- Place into an oiled loaf tin and bake for approx 20 minutes.
- Turn out and cool on a wire rack.
